Beginning October 5, 2026, Innovative Primary Care will be partnering with Privia Health.
Our practice will remain independently owned and operated, with the same commitment to compassionate, personalized care our patients know and trust. By being powered by Privia, we will have more tools, technology, and support to serve more patients across the communities we currently call home, as well as the communities we plan to reach in the near future.
This partnership will help us deliver an even higher level of care through:
✅ Expanded insurance and Medicare Advantage access
We anticipate access to additional primary-care insurance contracts and expanded Medicare Advantage plan participation, including WellMed, Humana, Sana Benefits, CHRISTUS Health Plan, Scott & White, Molina, Oscar, Seton, Cigna HealthSpring, Wellcare, and UnitedHealthcare products, including PPO and HMO plans.
This will help more patients—including Medicare Advantage members—access the primary care they need close to home. Coverage, network status, and plan participation may vary by specific plan and location. Please continue to verify your benefits before scheduling.
✅ Enhanced technology through athenahealth
Improved electronic health record tools will support more efficient appointments, referral coordination, specialty-care approvals, and prior authorizations.
✅ Convenient telemedicine options
More flexibility to receive care from where you are when an in-office visit is not needed.
✅ After-hours care support
Access to contracted after-hours providers may help patients get timely guidance and avoid unnecessary urgent-care or emergency-room visits when appropriate.
✅ The new myPrivia app and patient portal
We will help both existing and new patients get connected to the new myPrivia patient portal and mobile app. The app makes it easier to schedule and manage appointments, attend virtual visits, securely message your care team, request prescription refills, and review important health information, including lab results.myprivia
